Some info about the new books and new curriculum:
- ISLAMIC EDUCATION is the name of the New Books published & distributed by the Ministry of Education, UAE.
- These books are supplied through the Ministry’s official outlet.
- Many Schools in UAE started teaching from the new books, some from the 2nd Term of the academic year 2017-18 and some (CBSE board) from 2018-19.
- From 2018-19, all schools in Dubai and other Emirates WILL HAVE TO COMPULSORILY TEACH from these newly introduced books.
- Teaching of I Love Islam and Learning Islam books have become a thing of the past.

Brother, I don’t think teachers guidebook or any helping book is available in market or Ministry of Education but I believe if we will give little time to these new prescribed books we will surely write lesson plans and teaching.would not be difficult in sha Allah.

It was in 2012 when they used to sell the other books pertaining to the old syllabus.
After the MOE started publishing, it is not available in open market.

Could you please advise regarding the Islamic 2 curriculum?
I’m covering Islamic 2 classes from year 7 to 12 (British system). Unfortunately, the department does not have solid resources that could develop the students’ learning and understanding of Islam. At the moment the children are using the “Learning Islam” textbooks as following:
Year 7 Level 1
Year 8 Level 2
Year 9 Level 3
Year 10 Level 4
Year 11 Level 5
Year 12 Level 6
According to my research, the MOE curriculum for years 2012/13 states that students use books upto level 3.
I appreciate your advice

Ignore the 2012/13 syllabus which is non-implementable due to the introduction of new editions.
Kindly follow the new books Level 1 to 6 as stated by you, and wait for the new syllabus, InshaaAllah.
We all are having the same problems. Hopefully the ministry will solve the issue by sending the updated syllabus at the earliest, InshaaAllah.
Thank you. However, my point is the exam topics as ADEC’s letter states units D, E and A46. I agree the new one, level 6, makes more sense to me. However, nothing is official to prove that we’re on the right track. Could you please send me any official letters from ADEC that could clear this path.

We in Sharjah/Dubai do not get direct communication from ADEC.
Ours is a different zone.
Syllabus is made by the MOE and made available through respective zones in all the emirates.

Incidentally, after your comment, just after Isha Salah, I got soft copies of the new portion from a teacher who works in a Abu Dhabi school.
She says she got it from ADEC. Unfortunately i found lots of discrepancies in the new syllabus as there is conflict between Unit and respective chapters.
I have replied that teacher to get it confirmed as to the source of the soft copies.
InshaaAllah will let you know once this is done.

Till now we have no news of Teacher’s Guide.
As Arabic Speakers do have a Guide Book, we hope that there is one for Non-Arabic speakers too, inshaaAllah.
Hope they will be made available soon by the MoE, InshaaAllah.
I roughly just wen through the new Islamic Ministry’s book which you have uploaded here,but found many typing and grammatical errors in English in first lesson itself. If possible then I request you to drive the attention of authorities before publishing it.

We all are struggling with the new books but I assure you once you start it is not very difficult as people think otherwise. Of course a little bit of hard work is necessary to come to terms with the changed curriculum, otherwise everything is fine.
About teachers’ guide, please be informed that nobody is going to make it. It is only we teachers who have do it.
If you know Arabic and can manage with it, then there are Teachers’ Guides available in Arabic, alhamdulillaah.

It is available only through the MoE outlet and official order has to be placed only through respective schools inshaaAllah. It is not available in the open market like the previous books.

I found mistake in the Arabic verses, verse(2) of Surat Al-Kahf in the Book of Grade 10 Part one page 12.

wa alaikumus salam wa rahmatullaahi wa barakatuhu. Yes, the Ministry has notified this and we got printed stickers with the correct version from the Ministry and accordingly the correction was carried out. InshaAllah, this mistake will be rectified in the new edition.

I wanted to know if the grade 11 book 2 answers are available or atleast notes? I can find the unsolved pdf and document files but it would be an great help with answers.

With answers, for higher grades, are difficult to be uploaded all at once. It is taking a lot of time and effort and unfortunately teachers are not sharing the notes or answers to exercises like before. I find hard to manage and feel bad to reply negatively to the comments.
