Yes, it is good always to do like that.
We do it for secondary section.
For primary it is better to have it from within the book’s content so that it is easy for parents to guide their little ones.

Since we have only two periods per week, from grade 9 onwards, we explain the lesson in one class (interactive) and do the worksheets given in the Learning Islam Work Book in the second period. At times we make worksheets if we feel they are not sufficient.
Presently I am not concentrating to upload secondary worksheets here. If you have, you can share and I will upload them giving credits to you, inshaallah.

The new text books being sold in the market are NOT APPROVED by the Ministry.

Dear sister, every Text Book has its own workbook that is brought out by the publisher. As we found the worksheets given in the publisher’s workbooks are neither sufficient nor up to the standard especially for Grades 1 to 5, we made our own worksheets. And all worksheets are based on the prescribed text books. Hope this clarifies your doubt. Baarakallahu feek.

Is it compulsory to follow ministry syllabus for primary classes?
our new supervisor is saying it is not compulsory to follow, you can reduce the lessons.
I am totally confused.what should I do? pls. guide me

if they come for inspection, then they do check the Curriculum Overview and Lesson Plans.
It is safe to follow the Ministry syllabus inshaaAllah.
Also, some schools do not give due importance to the subject, and so some people do not complete the Ministry Syllabus.
Islamic Studies must be taken seriously by all and must abide by the Ministry guidelines.
This is what I can suggest and tell you.

About Parent-Teacher guide, yes it is there for all grades but it is available only for old books, not for International editions.

Thank You for building up this website, it has been a great help everytime. I actually had to ask that if you have any model Ministry papers for the new books of Islamic Education. I am a Grade 12 student and had difficulty in studying the new book and don’t know what are important lessons to learn for the upcoming Ministry Exam, so if there are sample papers it could be a great help. Also, I came to know that these books are a translation of the Arabic Tarbiyah Islamiya books, I don’t completely know whether this is true or not. And one last request that if you could upload Part Two of Grade 12 book as some portion is from this book for the exam. Thank You for your help Sir.

Sorry for the late reply.
I was busy due to school inspections.
As you know very well that these New books were introduced only this academic year.
So there is no question of having any model Ministry paper (or the past paper)
This will be the first year of Ministry exam vis-a-vis the new books.
Secondly, yes the books are translated from the Arabic version.
Part 2 of the new books are not available in PDF form.
Are you studying in Abu Dhabi?
If yes, I will send you a file shared by a teacher, inshaaAllah.

Yes Sir, I do study in Abu Dhabi and I was willing to ask that if there were to be pastpapers of the books in the Arabic version, but I don’t know where I can find the pastpapers or I don’t have access to the Arabic pastpapers which could either be translated or if you could just tell us the pattern that what kind of questions i.e. short , explanatory or filll in the blanks, and what could be important lessons to learn. Assalamu Alaikum, We are currently using the I LOVE ISLAM series of textbooks at a small weekend Islamic school. I would like to know if we are allowed to copy your worksheets pertaining to some of these lessons that we teach (not all). Secondly, if we take questions from here and there by using a Grab image and compiling into our own worksheets with some additional questions from outside, is that OK with you? Kindly confirm. As this will save us a lot of time from retyping the questions that are on your worksheets, however we cannot guarantee that your website link will be mentioned (although we will try our best to mention it and/or include it as part of our worksheets).
