من يهده الله فلا مضل له ومن يضلل فلا هادي له وأشهد أن لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له وأشهد أن محمدا عبده ورسوله

This blog will, Inshaa’Allah, serve as a bridge between teachers and students in the teaching-learning of Islamic Studies in the UAE. However, any student of Islam, living in any part of the world, can use this blog as a resource, InShaa’Allah.   

I would appreciate if parents, students & teachers send in their suggestions & comments. 

May Allah accept our efforts, forgive us of our sins, give us the good of this world and the good of the Hereafter, and save us from the torment of the hell-fire. Aameen

إِنْ أُرِيدُ إِلَّا الْإِصْلَاحَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ ۚ وَمَا تَوْفِيقِي إِلَّا بِاللَّـهِ ۚ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَإِلَيْهِ أُنِيبُ

“I only intend reform as much as I am able. And my success is not but through Allah. Upon him I have relied, and to Him I return.” Surah Huud 11:88

Name: Muqeet Mujtaba Ali /مقيت مجتبى علي

Native: Born and raised in Chennai (formerly, Madras) India.

Location: Presently based in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.

Profession: Teacher of Islamic Studies/Arabic for non-Arabs, and freelance writer.       

Qualification: M.A., M.Phil. (Arabic), B.Ed., M. A. (Journalism and Mass Communication), Certificate Course in Social Work and Managemet; Certificate in Test of Proficiency in English from CIEFL, Hyderabad; Short-Term Islamic Course at Jamia Darussalam, Oomerabad, Tamil Nadu, India. 

Passion: Freelancing

Areas of Interest: Mass Media & Communication, Human Resource Development, Dawah & Blogging

Motivation: Allah’s assurance, “Those who strive in Our Cause, We will certainly Guide them to Our Ways: for verily Allah is with those who excel in good” (Surah 29, Al Ankabuut, verse 69)

My Favourite Du’aa:

اللَّهُمَّ إنِّي أسئلك مِنْ خَيْر مَا سَأَلَكَ مِنْهُ نَبِيُّكَ محمَّدٌ

وأعوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا استَعَاذَ مِنْهُ نَبِيُّكَ مُحَمَّدٌ

وأنتَ المُسْتَعانُ ، وَعَليْكَ البَلاَغُ

  وَلا حَولَ وَلا قُوَّةَ إِلا باللهِ

“O Allah, I ask from You all those good things which Your Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) has asked from You;  and I seek refuge in You from all those evil things from which Your Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) has sought refuge from You. You are the One from Whom help is sought and Yours is the responsibility to communicate (the truth). There is no power or strength except with Allah the Exalted, the Great.”
