“I only intend reform as much as I am able. And my success is not but through Allah. Upon him I have relied, and to Him I return.” Surah Huud 11:88

So please help me to make my lessons and teaching more and more
interesting. please suggest me some good sites to prepare my lessons.
    As we are using SMART-BOARD.
So I request you to please guide me.
May Allah SWT accept your good deeds.

    Jazaak Allah
    Umme Hammad

    • wa alaikumus salam.
Glad to note that you are a teacher of Islamic Studies, alhamdulillah.
Making teaching interesting, I feel, is always at the hands of the teacher.
All resources and study materials are of secondary importance.

We need to quote relevant Qur’anic verses and ahadeeth from our memory in every class.
It directly pierces the heart of the learners.

Every lesson can be designed according to the level of students in an interesting manner.
If you need any specific help regarding any particular lesson, Inshaa’Allah i will be able to guide you.

I always make it a point to tell the students frankly and repeatedly that Islamic Studies is NOT TO be studied for the sake of marks and for the heck of learning. It is life-oriented. We need to learn Islam, understand Islam, love Islam and live Islam. This thought must always be fresh in the minds of the teachers and students. Only then the class will become interesting.

Jazakillah Khayr for your du’aa. May Allah accept your du’aa and help you in all your endeavors. Aameen.
      Vassalam.

  16. Assalamu Alaikum Brother
    Jazaak Allah for your help.

  35. Assalamualaikum sir,

Insha allah, We are organizing small Baithul-Maal meeting for our Native village in India , we expect around 20-40 UAE residence members.
Can you please recommend some community Hall/Room to host such event for an hour or two at discount price or Free in Duabi.

    Jazakum allah be khaire..!!!

    • Wa alaikumus salam wa rahmatullah brother.
This is UAE and unlike India you cannot convene meetings as per your convenience. You need to have the permission from the Government.
As per the halls etc. you may book a party hall in some restaurant. Free space I don’t think anybody will give.
But as I said permission is necessary.

  36. assalam alikum wa rahmathullah,

  47. Assalamu Alaikum…Pls reply to this message. I would like to use your worksheets for teaching a small group of children in a local madrasah. May I simply print off as many copies as I like and/or take snapshots of various worksheets here and there and create our own sheet…is it necessary to give the name of your website etc? Pls clarify.

Secondly, kindly indicate which textbooks are being referred to ‘I LOVE ISLAM’. Kindly provide the author’s names. MashaAllah the workbooks based on these textbooks that are available on your site are very detailed…however I would like to refer the text itself and hence this query.

Hope to hear from you ASAP as my situation is a bit urgent. Jazak Allahu Khairan Katheeran for your time, support, cooperation and understanding.

    • Wa alaikumus salam wa rahmatullah.
You already sent a comment with this request and I had replied to that.

If you navigate properly you will get all details which you need.
However some workbooks given in this blog can be printed but they’ll have watermarks.
They are to serve as model worksheets only.

  52. Aslamalikum!
can someone help me from where to study for KHDA test.
I have to appear for this test in September.. but I have no idea from where to start preparing.
    I m teaching Islamic to non-Arabs
    JazakAllah

      • Jazakallaahu Khayra.
indeed its a great help. is it necessary to be a hafiz of Qur’an for an Islamic teacher?
coz I heard that they can ask about any ayah and its reason of revelation. exam will not be according to syllabus we are teaching.
as Islamic is a very wide topic.. so I m so confused from where to start.. all surah..fiqh…etc

        • No, it is not necessary to be a haafidh for being a teacher of Islamic Studies.

They will ask general questions on Qur’anic studies, tafseer and rules of reciting the glorious Qur’an.

It depends upon the person’s past, how he/she was taking interest in acquiring in depth knowledge of Qur’anic Surahs. That would certainly come as an added advantage. For freshers, I think it is tough to know everything just for sake of interview.
However, you need not worry. Learn basic things about Tafseer and how it should be done. This will help both in the interview and in our practical teaching-learning process, inshaaAllah.

          • Jazakallah.
after reading your comment I get some hope. plz don’t mind I ll keep on asking whenever I have some difficulty. I found only this site to help me abut ths matter
I m teaching Islamic and I do conselt ths site for my students work also.
one thing more I m not master in Islamic. but my school told me tht they wil submit my graduation degree (that is in Islamic) to KHDA, let see if KHDA will accept me to sit in Islamic teacher’s test in sep. what u say will KHDA allow me on the base of my graduation or they will ask me to do master in Islamic.
I have done masters in Urdu language but teaching Islamic from past 10 years in UAE 4 years.

  53. Aslamalikum
when KHDA announces the result after Islamic teacher’s exam date, this time it was on May 11
    thanks

      • Asslamualikum ! by the grace of Allah I pass my written exam, now I have to go for interview, plz guide me what to prepare for interview, will they listen Qur’an also in interview as some says they will ask you to read Qur’an also, but some says they will not listen the Qur’an. after 2 days I have interview
        JazakAllah

        • Wa alaikumus salam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu.

alhamdulillaah, and congrats for clearing the written test.

As for the interview is concerned, they may ask questions related to Tajweed, the Art of Qur’anic Recitation.
They also tell the candidates to recite from the glorious Qur’an.

General questions they might ask about Basics, Aqeeqah, Ahkaam etc. and also how Islam is a peaceful religion which shuns extremism of all sorts.

InshaaAllah, after the interview please share with us all the pattern of the written exam as many do need some guidance in this regard, inshaaAllah.

          Baarakallaah.

          • Aslam o alaikum!
Alhamdolillah I pass my KHDA written test+ interview.
i follow only your guidance wht i got frm ths page.
JazakAllah for making ths informative site.

one thing more that KHDA wil continu taking Islamic teachrs test or they stop now and changed their policy, as i heard someone saying like this
            thanks

            • Wa alaikumus salam wa rahmatullah.

              Alhamdulillah for all things.

REQUEST: Kindly share your experience of the Test and Interview, for the benefit of larger community, inshaaAllah.

              • aslam o alikum!
with a very heavy broken heart… jst now my HOD told me that I didn’t pass interview ‘cos I couldn’t translate the verses of surah… and by mistake they sent me a mail that I pass.. 😦

  56. Good morning,

My name is Mary Dawson and I am writing because I came across your website and was very impressed with the work you have done and your dedication to community service. I have experienced the effects of substance abuse with a close family member, and since then I’ve wanted to help others in the same predicament. I think your site has done a remarkable job in reaching out and assisting people in a similar way.

Now, I am part of the Community Outreach team for a substance abuse resource site. Our web guide, AddictionCenter.com, connects individuals struggling with addiction to treatment options, as well as providing valuable information about substance dependence. Our goal is to prevent substance abuse and provide support for families and communities struggling with these issues.

I am reaching out to you in hopes that you would add http://www.addictioncenter.com to your page: muqith.wordpress.com/for-teachers-2/psycho-education/. I think our resource would provide great value to your visitors and our team would be grateful if you included us on your site. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out!

I look forward to hearing from you!
